Call for papers

We invite all companies, associations, institutes, public-sector bodies and professionals to submit contributions for the "Solar meets Glass - 2nd Industry Summit for Quality, Logistics and Materials".

The abstract should explain the key issues to be covered in your presentation and their relevance for the conference. The abstract should not be longer than one page. It should be accompanied by short biographical information about the author.

Key Topics will be:
1. Production technology PV
2. Production technology glass
3. Quality issues PV
4. Quality issues glass
5. Optimization of Production Processes
6. Logistics for PV and glass
7. Material matters PV
8. Material matters glass

In cases of particular interests, any presentations on other issues relevant for the conference issues will be considered.

Deadlines:
Deadline for submission of abstracts: 10 January 2011
Notification of acceptance or refusal: 4 February 2011
Submission of PowerPoint documents for the conference: 11 March 2011

Time available for the presentation: Depending on the session, the speaker will have 15-20 minutes for his talk and will be limited to 20 slides per presentation. 
Company presentation: maximum 3 of the 20 slides are allowed for company or personal presentation.
Language: The conference language is English. The abstracts and the presentations may be delivered in English.
Free admission for speakers: Authors of accepted papers will be registered for the conference automatically free of charge.
Conference proceedings: The submitted abstract of the accepted presentations will be included in the conference proceedings (USB-memory stick) distributed at the event to all participants.
The power-point-slides of the presentation held will be included on the Solarpraxis website as a protected pdf after the conference. Only the accepted presentations will be published.
